The Art of Makeup prides itself in keeping up with product trends and makeup savvy students by continually updating our makeup kits with brands and palettes to get excited about. If we discover a new product we love, we jump at the chance to find a way to make it available and affordable for our students. As soon as we heard about Morphe’s new Pride Palette in celebration of Pride Month with its bright rainbow colors and glittery sparkle, we dashed to Morphe and nearly cleared them out! Morphe is generously donating 100% of proceeds to The Trevor Project, a national crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ community under the age of 25. By purchasing a lot of these palettes, we are not only adding a gorgeous fashion palette to our beauty kits, but we were able to make a substantial donation to The Trevor Project. We always love to see students’ excitement when they receive their makeup kits and we can’t wait until they see this palette. I’m sure we’ll be hearing, “I’ve been wanting this palette!”
Our next Multimedia Master Makeup Artist, Master Class and Fashion Makeup Artistry programs will feature an additional exciting new line-up of products that have been getting rave reviews.
The increasingly popular brand Ofra Cosmetics is endorsed by makeup artist icon Francesca Tolot. Ofra offers a high performing skincare and makeup line made with beneficial natural ingredients to help protect the skin. In our kit, you’ll find their ‘Magic Roulette Concealer’ wheel to help soften discoloration and cover blemishes. Like every product in our kits, we tried it out first and it stayed put for hours and didn’t crease!
We are ditching Maybelline and switching to Ofra’s cruelty-free HD volumizing mascara. The rich formula created thick, defined lashes without clumping, and Ofra is a member of PETA and Leaping Bunny. Now our entire makeup kit is vegan and cruelty-free!
We are also including Ofra’s Fixline Eyeliner Gel with its long-wear, smudge resistant and smooth application along with 5 creamy, long lasting, water resistant eye and lip pencils in a variety of universal shades. We also discovered Ofra’s best selling Universal eyebrow pencil. One cool shade of brown fits all!
Keeping our planet in mind, The Art of Makeup strives to be eco friendly by cutting down on unnecessary waste. We have recently included an exclusive The Art of Makeup washable towel for students to use for table mats to cut down on paper towel trash. We have also added a reusable makeup blender sponge which gives the students a chance to try a new way to blend and blur foundations and other cream products.
We continue to use our other favorite brands in our beauty kit too, such as Anastasia, Make Up For Ever, Mehron HD, Bdellium Tools, and Inglot.
To experience these products first hand, join us for The Multimedia Master Makeup Artist program, The Master Class, or Fashion Makeup Artistry programs starting September 3rd.
