Summer Makeup Camp Session I 2024 (4-days)

Open to all ages! – Space is limited

The Art of Makeup’s Summer Makeup Camp is the perfect and low-priced introductory program for those considering makeup artistry as a career or simply for fun. Each of the 4 days is a sampling from 4 of the courses included in the The Multimedia Master Program and Makeup Artistry Essentials Certificate Programs. Each day includes a lecture, demonstration, and hands on application. A Certificate of Training and photos of your work will be provided.

Our hand selected custom Summer Makeup Camp Kits are specifically designed for this program and include some of the same items from our Professional Beauty Makeup Artistry Kit and Out of the Kit FX Kit. Supplies can be credited towards kits of future program enrollments.  Kits are optional, but please review the list of what is needed for each camp if you choose to purchase supplies on your own.  A $50 kit rental fee is also an option for each Summer Camp.

Topics covered include:

Day 1 Corrective Beauty: Color theory, skin tone matching, highlighting and contouring, corrective techniques, and a classic beauty look

Day 2 Fashion Makeup: Editorial fashion look, winged liner, strip lashes, perfect lips, and smoky eyes

Day 3 Special FX Makeup: Create bruises, cuts, wounds, and burns using a variety of makeup mediums

Day 4 Film & TV Makeup: Using makeup for character development, film makeup tips & tricks, career genres in makeup artistry

This Workshop will be held at the Lakewood Theater in Downtown Lake Oswego.
